Be Strong! Young women becoming community leaders

"Be Strong" is a 12-week course GUM is offering in partnership with Galveston's Resource Crisis Center this fall. The course for 8th-12th grade girls, aims to help young women protect themselves from sexual violence and learn how to become community leaders. The experience will empower our young women, inspire purpose and change social norms by building on concepts of womanhood, respect, and positive relationships. We are honored to offer this opportunity to our young women.
