School Supply Store

How It Works

Eligible families can purchase a backpack and all required school supplies for their student for just $7.00 at the Galveston Urban Ministries School Supply Store.

Each student receives supplies based on their school's actual supply list. By offering supplies at a low cost instead of for free, parents can participate in providing for their children while shopping with dignity.

All money raised through the store is used to restock supplies and help more local families.

How to Sign Up

To register to shop the store, you must visit our office in person:

Sign-Up Dates: July 13–15
Hours: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and 2:00 PM–6:00 PM

Important Information

• Registration must be completed in person.

• This program is open to Galveston residents only.

• Please bring a valid photo ID or utility bill when signing up.

• The School Supply Store is cash only.
